My professional career is a welder, using machines that require both my wrists and ankle to perform my task. Halfway during the pandemic my work asked me to go to a job where I would stand for 8 hours a day. I went back to my normal area and, tried to use my old machines. My ankle bone all of a sudden became really stiff and a pain came out right between your tarsal and my two leg bones. it always presents a on and off pain that goes from that spot and will sometimes make it to my big toe. But mostly the pain is in within 2 inches of that joint. My big toe sometimes gets weak or just aches alot. I've been a diabetic now for 15 years and just became 30 years old. One of my doctor suggested it was diabetic neuropathy. The second doctor a sports therapy doctor said that she believed it was tarpal tunnel. The third doctor under the same practice as the second suggested it is bursitis. They are trying to get an MRI done for me which was denied. But if anyone here could talk about past experiences or share knowledge. It would help as I write to get the deniel changed.

Given that you have 3 possible different diagnoses from three different drs, you really do need an MRI or ultrasound imaging to get to the bottom of it. Without a proper diagnosis, there is little can be done re advice as to what to do.
