8 days ago I was at a funeral and my right foot slid in a muddy hole causing my shoe to go to the left and my heel to turn out to the right. This caused mild pain going around my ankle, with no bruising and slight swelling. I was still able to walk on it but not all that good. I went to see my family dr. the next day and he put me in an air cast (since I was 1 week shy of being 5 months pregnant he didn't want to do x-rays). After 4 days of working(i am a CNA) and being full weight bearing on it the pain had started to shoot up my leg into my knee area and the dr. decided to do x-rays. Dr says I have a hairline fracture and the radiologist says there's nothing. My dr has put me in a soft cast no weight bearing and schelduled me to see ortho in a week. My pain is worse with the soft cast on the inside of my right ankle/heel area. When I lay down for the night it feels like someone is hitting me with a sledge hammer. Who should I believe my family dr or the radiologist. I live in the US

As a certified nurse anesthetist, you certainly have more than enough medical knowledge to know that only a fool would answer your question without having personally viewed your x-rays.
