ankle sprain 2 degree

    what is the fastest way to help heal a second degree ankle sprain?? they put me on crutchs but no ankle support. happened yesterday and then i was told by the er doctor to see my regular physican asap which i cant do untill monday!! help i must get back to work!!!!

    You should not be attempting to cut corners and rush the healing of a Grade II sprain. If improperly dealt with, you may be paying the price for a long time to come. It would be unwise to take advice for treating this sprain from someone who is not privy to the details of your case. You may not thank me now for this advice, but if you do not head such advice, there is a good chance that you'll find out later that you should have. I think that the best thing for now would probably be rest and elevation until you can obtain specific recommendations based on an examination.
