I am a 51 year old male, a few kg overweight, not obese...and moderately active (Imhave a desk job). Started walking hills (approximately 3km per day) after years of sedentary nonactivity. A few days ago, I developed a large semi-hard bump on the inside of my heel bone. It is not painful on the lower portion of the bump...however, the upper side of the bump is painful when pressed. I wear custom orthotics as I am an over-pronator...

I originally thought it was achilles tendonitis, but my achilles tendon is not tender...

I am taking Naproxin Sodium 220mg BID and applying Voltarin gel.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

PS: I cannot upload a file of any soze for some reason.
