I have had plantar fasciitis on and off for years now. I recently got a foam roller as a physical therapist said it will help. Another physical therapist said to not waste my time. What does anyone think?

Its probably not going to fix it, but may make it feel better.

You could try the PediRoller which is designed to be rolled in the arch and is harder than a typical foam rollers:

The best way to deal with plantar fasciitis in the long term is strategies that reduce the load in the plantar fascia.
