Clear sticky fluid from 1st mpj

    Hello
    Could someone help in diagnosing some clear sticky fluid which builds up in my patients foot then "pops". The area is then left macerated. I have asked the GP to investigate and they think it is uric acid crystals. Do you think it would be synovial fluid???
