I had a Cartiva implant 9 months ago and was in pain that got progressively worse until and MRI showed it needed to be removed. I felt there was no option other than a fusion which I had ten days ago. I'm angry and frustrated by another long period of recovery/expense and missed work.
I'm looking for other people who have had a failed Cartiva implant and are interested in joining a mass action law suit (not class action). I have already started the process.

On what grounds are you wanting to pursue the class action?

Felicia, I have experienced same failure. What is your game plan?

I also just found out that my Cartiva implant has failed and I need to get a fusion. I just had the surgery for the Cartiva implant 7 months ago and am so upset that this has already happened. Seeing all of the coverage online about the negative results makes me wonder why my doctor used the Cartiva implant at all. I wish I had done my own research prior to my surgery, but I trusted her.

I did extensive research before I had mine done and didn't find any bad reviews. Had mine done, it failed and I was watching tv one evening and saw a law office saying about it and started the research again and now all the bad stuff is coming out about the cartiva failings. I am not happy and am going to have to get something done pretty soon. My foot is worse now than before I had surgery!
