I don't know what wrong with my feet, but they look like I've been wearing sandals and got a bad sunburn. The skin is bright red with light stripes where the sandal straps might have been. The problem is my feet aren't sunburned. I haven't been in the sun at all. I don't understand where this redness came from. It extends to my ankles and up the front of my shins. People keep asking me how I got my feet sunburned. My feet don't feel hot, or itch or anything, they're just hideously red. Any ideas? Anything I can use to ease the redness?

How 'bout taking your feet to a doctor so that a proper diagnosis can be made and a treatment plan offered?

I arrived here after doing a search on "feet look like they are sunburned" and found this post. Symptoms are the same as above, bright redness in feet, look sunburned and as if sunburn took place with sandals on (feet are not sunburned) This look has occurred a few times and I'm wondering what it might be? (I've booked an appointment, but would appreciate anyone having similar symptoms sharing their experiences)

Would appreciate hearing about similar experiences and outcome.
