I have seen a lot of buzz about these new sandals called
FitFlops, and am wondering if they are bad for a person, such as myself, who has flatfeet and therefore, overpronates as a result. Does anyone have any advice?
    Thanks!

The amount of limitation of excessive pronation supplied by an enclosed shoe is minimal at best, and anyhow, shoes are not therapeutic devices for bio-mechanical problems. If one is a pathologic over-pronator, he/she needs real supportive treatment, such as a well-fitted orthotic. But even so, they do not function to affect pronation other than when they are worn. So, as far as excessive pronation is concerned, the only problem with wearing sandals is that an orthotic cannot be worn at the same time. But other than for that issue, and the issue of the lack of protection from the elements which a closed shoe affords the wearer, the sandal itself should not be a particular problem for such a patient.

I always use fitflop and I can say that it is the most comfortable shoes for anyone. And it has wide range so you can select as per your comfort and choice. You can find simple as well as stylish. You can go for slippers and you can also try the boots it offers. And I als experienced it also help to remove the pain and heard that it helps to be in shape. So just go for it.
