Full tear of tibiofibular ligament treatment

    Hi
    Even thought ive been a pod for many years i havent really seen this injury however my 17 year old son has just been diagnosed with a full thickness of the anterior tibiofib ligament. There is no obvious widening of the joint space
    I have had him in a boot since the injury which occured at football 16 days ago. Just wondering what others have done for such an injury and if surgery is...
