I'm 57 year old Male. I have had Type 2 Diabetes, since 2012. Was on metformin and glimerperide. In the last year, I have not had to take meds because of weight loss and low carb lifestyle.

My heel feels like my sock has bunched up under it when I walk. There is no actual pain, just discomfort. I take Gabapentin 900mg x 3 times daily and it keeps the feeling in check. If I miss a dose, it will reappear. It seems like diabetic neuropathy. But there is no pain, and only in the heel.

Just curious if anyone else experiences the same and what they have been told.

    Thank you

That suggests you need to be checked out for neuropathy
