Last September I woke up with severe pain in one foot and ankle . I also have pain in my calf . knee. thigh but it is way worse in ankle and foot. It's so bad I can't walk most of the time and need to stay on the sofa all day. I went to my doc and she gave me a blood test. x ray, bone scan, EMG. The tests were normal and she said it is idiopathic pain. Does this seem right? My doc seems lazy and doesn't want to help. She's said there is nothing she can do!
I get severe sharp pains when I walk more than a few minutes, I can't move my ankle without severe pain, I have some numbness and when I am not moving which is most the time I get severe throbbing and burning off and on but it is mainly on. I never had any pain last year if I didn't move. My doc just gives me pills that make my ibs way worse. I'm in agony.I can't do this.
    Anyone have this nightmare?

Suggest you get to a neurologist for a proper assessment.
