I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH peripheral neuropathy IN MY FEET, LEGS , ARMS , TOES AND HANDS. RECENTLY , LIKE 3 DAYS NOW MY LEFT BIG TOE ON AND AROUND THE VERY TIP, HAS BEEN VERY ITCHY STINGY SENSATION I TOOK A PHOTO AND I DID NOTICE LIKE PEALING SPOTS ON IT . IT'S SO MISERABLE I CAN'T HARDLY SLEEP WEAR SHOES OR SIT WITHOUT HAVING TO SCRATCH IT TO DEATH. ON AND OFF THIS GOES ON AND IT'S EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE ESPECIALLY WHEN I'M IN THE PUBLIC AND IT STARTS.. MY TOE NAIL DOES HAVE FUNGUS UNDER IT. I EVEN SOAKED MY FEET IN BLEACH THE OTHER NIGHT TO TRY TO KILL THE ITCHING UNFORTUNATELY IT DIDN'T WORK AND UP AT ALMOST 3AM ON MY PC TRYING TO FIND SOME ANSWERS. I DO HAVE A DR'S APPT. TODAY IN THE AFTER NOON AND I'LL ADDRESS IT WHEN I GO BUT COULD ANYONE HERE KNOW WHAT COULD THIS BE ? IT FEELS LIKE I'M GETTING STUNG A BIT AT THE SAME TIME....IT'S SO BAD...

You really need to see a neurologist to get the neuropathy managed better.
The toe is not really itching --- it is your nerves interpreting that. The problem is in the nerve sensation not really in the toe
