I started getting pain in my left heel 1 year ago which lead to pain on the inside of my left knee. I have considerably high arches. I went to my local Shuropody store and I was given insoles. I usually wear Asics for extra support. These helped for a few months, but the pain is back. I haven’t been able to see a podiatrist due to COVID.

I feel like my left heel is skidding/sloping inwards when I walk, if that makes sense.

I looked at the slippers I wear in the house, and there is considerable wear to the left slipper.

It has worn into the shape of a parallelogram. The right slipper is normal.

Pronation is confusing to understand. Is there anything anyone can tell me about my gait from what I have said? I tried to post an image but it won't allow me as I'm new here

    Kind Regards

Hard to say anything based on information provided.
Ignore the pronation issue and get to someone to get the actual reason for the pain diagnosed and more forward from there.

As i said, can't upload photos due to being a new member. Can't see a podiatrist yet until social distancing is over. Cheers
