Lisfranc - screw removal..What to expect?

    Hello,

    It has been almost 3 months since my Lisfranc surgery - 6 screws/plate and fusion. I get the hard cast off in 1 week and will be in a walking boot. Dr. will be removing 1 screw in the next 1-2 months. I am just wondering what to expect after the screw removal? Is there as much pain as the screw insertion? Will I be put complete IV under? I go back to the Dr in 1 week to ask questions just wondering what other experiences have been.
