I have a full cast from my toes to knee for this fx in my foot. I have had it xrayed weekly since my accident(3 weeks ago) I look at the xray each week and it doesn't look any different I was told it can take upto 5 weeks to see the calcification form. The bone is broken in 2 pieces on a diagonal. Its still is very painful to walk on. The doc says it looks like the alignment is "OK" has anyone experienced this type of fx. Any problems with the healing? Could it possibly need to be surgically repaired

Andy fracture can potentially have healing problems, and it would be impossible to state whether the fracture you sustain would requie surgery without benefit of a hands-on evaluation of your case including a viewing of the x-rays.
