I am hoping for some advice, a second opinion on my issue. I am seeing a very reputable Podiatrist in the Atlanta area. I have had 4 or 5 alcohol injections thus far. I was seeing improvement until my last shot and I now feel almost back to square one. I had read a study that suggested sonography was very effective and led to better results when used with injection. Is this true? Is that approach necessary? Could a vein have been hit with the last injection? I am losing hope and do not want to have surgery.

Thank you for an answer from any Podiatrist who can respond.
