MTP FUSION WORRY

    Hi there
    I am new to this forum. I am having an MTP fusion of my right foot big toe due to worn out cartilage. I am worried about the recovery and how it might affect my walking. My questions are:
    How long before I can walk normally without a boot?
    Will it affect my walking for good?
    I have a weak back that is often in pain, will this be effected by the foot?
    I just can’t see how I am going...

    Hello - I have same questions. I have only read one positive review. Most all post op stories disappear after 8 weeks of miserable recovery journal entries? How could a CD procedure with such terrible outcomes be the gild standard. If anyone out has success stories 1 year out PLEASE reply.
