I have the same problem. My feet also squeak like those little kids squeak toys. I used to think it was the floor, and now when I'm barefoot it squeaks with every step I take. Started about 3-4 weeks ago. Anyone have any idea? No pain though.

ITS THE BELT, DONT SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE IT IS JUST YOUR BELT, I almost went to the doctors then I read people saying it was they're belt so I took my belt off all day at work today, and guess what. NO SQUEAKING!

It's definitely not belt as it happens even at home without any shoes, socks or belts. Did anyone find out what is the medical reason?

My husband is having the same problem...left foot. He does have some arthritis in his feet or toes, but this is not a crunch or gritty or grating sound...almost like a soft dog toy or something! Been doing it for about 3 days and fairly constant. NOT his belt..he doesn't wear a belt and it happens even in PJ's and on carpeted flooring. He's 65 and otherwise in good health...but for arthritis in fingers and toes...this doesn't seem to be toes but elsewhere on foot.
