Neurectomy question

I have pain in the 2nd and 3rd web spaces consistent with Morton's Neurona. I had a EDIN decompression done on 2nd web space. That did not work and there is now scar tissue 7 x 2 x 10 mm. At this point I feel a neurectomy is in order. My question is this, is it ok to have the neurectomy in the 2nd web space while simultaneously having a an open decompression on the 3rd? I'd rather only have 1 more procedure instead of 2. One doctor says it's ok. Another says there is too much risk doing both simultaneously.
