Hi I have a problem with both feet/ankles. Most of the time there is a peripheral numb sensation on the soles of both feet, it feels as though all the bones and tendons have been scrunched up and they cramp easily. Both ankles have limited rotation although they used to be very free. My GP sent me to a rheumatologist who cold find no problems with a passive examination. I play golf and I can walk without difficulty but not much sensation. That sounds as odd as it feels. The rheumatologist prescribed insert soles for my shoes and they have a little effect but not much. I have relatively narrow and shallow feet with long bony toes. Any advice will be very welcome.

Both feet being numb is a red flag for a neurological problem. Get you GP to send you to a neurologist.

That is quite scary, Craig. Could you expand on what problems I might have, please?

Try eating garlic for your circulation.
