I have numbness in my toes, feet and ankles. I had an appointment with my podiatrist and he told me that Hepatitis C virus that I have may be the cause of the numbness. I am trying to find a medical website that will support that diagnosis. I have had circulation tests on my feet and toes and that was normal. My feet do not get cold, they just ache from the numbness and it is hard to keep my balance.
Is there a website that has this information for me to use to support a disability claim?
    Thanks!!

Hepatitis C is a disease which CAN effect nerves, but that is not the same as saying that your numbness is necessarily the result of hepatitis C, as the are many, many other conditions and diseases which might cause numbness. I would think it much more likely that you would have generalized and multi-locational nerve disorders if your numbness were caused by an infectious disease.
