about a good 2 inches below the protruding bone above my foot ..just on top of the arch , left foot , I have a sharp pain when I put pressure on it ( walk , run , stand) .. I am a runner for the last 10 yrs , never a problem . Three wks ago it just appeared as I started my run and had to stop as the pain was to much. I haven't ran in 3 weeks now and it felt alot better .. so I tried to run again today and ran 3-4 miles with some discomfort as i ran but now 6 hrs after my run the pain is back like before I never rested ..I tried to rest it for 3 weeks maybe a trip to the doctor is in line ??? Whats your take ..I'm going crazy ..my need to run is killing me !!!! HELP !
Ps when i touch the area it barley hurts only when standing, running , walking

My take is that your inclination that a trip to the doctor is in line is the appropriate line of thought. There is absolutely no way that anyone could possibly offer anything but blind guesses on which self-treatment might be counterproductive. You were wise to give it a rest, and now that that has not done the job, a real diagnosis and treatment based on that is definitely in order.
