My left side under my ankle on the back side of my left foot started hurting about 5 days ago for NO apparent reason,I didn't injure it or anything. I have diabetic neuropathy, though my diabetes is under control my last A1C was 5.1 which is good. I've had leg infections before but this doesn't feel like those did. I'm nervous about going into any doctor office or Hospital cause of Covid virus exposure. Does anyone know why this would start hurting like this? I feel like it's getting worse then feels better for awhile when I elevate it. Thank you for any advice .I live in Hawaii FYI

Almost impossible to say with the information provided. You probably should get it looked at.
