    Hi everyone,

For the past few weeks, my right foot has been very painful. I can only move my big toe, and not the other ones. It feels like my toes are burning. And on the top of my foot, it feels like a band of pain is clamped on. My foot was numb for a while, about a week or so, and now i'm getting more feeling back, except for my heel which is still numb. I've started walking with the help of crutches. I can't really walk properly though because i can't bend my legs - i have bad calf pain that started at the same time as my numb foot. I don't have any idea what caused it. I tried resting my foot for a week but it didn't help much so now i'm walking on it but so far it hasn't helped either. The pain wakes me up in the night. Also the pain is always there, but it often flares up suddenly with a spike of bigger pain.

Does anyone know what this could be? Or what i could do to help the pain go away?

As you are describing nerve symptoms, try a neurologist.
