Pits on my foot

    I've had this problem for years and it hasn't started to hurt until I started hiking a bunch... It looks like clusters of pits on my foot that have callused over due to negligence. I've had it treated before years ago, but I can't remember what my doctor called it or what he treated it with. The hospital has since shut its doors, so I'm on my own. Lickily, another character out there has had a similar issue. He didn't get a response to his post though...

    Although the pic you reference is not terribly sharp, the photo looks very much like tissue macerated by excessive sweating, but that is not unusually painful. You might have mosaic verrucae, but guessing diagnoses and then recommending treatment based on a GUESS is not only inappropriate, but potentially dangerous. Spring for another doctor visit and be sure . . . ahw-SOME!!
