I have been struggling with this Fibromatosis for a while now. Went to the Podiatrist this morning because of my big toe going numb with a terrific tingling feeling. We found that the Fibromatosis has grown and now I have a bunion on my big toe that is stretching a nerve. His recommendation is to have the surgery to remove the bunion and the fibromatosis. I'm a little scared after reading all these forums about the Fibromatosis recurring. Can someone on here give me some insight?

It is probably going to get worse without the surgery.
