Hello, the nail on the big toe on one of my feet has gotten yellow and the skin around it slightly red and slightly swollen/ pulsating from time to time. It is hurting most of the time and I can't step/ walk normally because I don't want to irritate it more.

I just got some antifungal spray, hopefully that helps.

I have good hygiene, but I stayed with wet shoes/ socks for a few hours... And that was done a few times, however all my other toes on both feet are ok.

Any advice on what it might be and how to cure it is appreciated. Thank you.

Sounds more like an ingrown nail causing the problem than a fungal nail.
Get to a podiatrist and get the offending piece of mail removed.

Did you go to your GP and get a diagnose? I am curious what it was?
