I have a weird patch on the bottom of my left foot the size of a 50p piece it has in the past been quite itchy, white and the skin becomes rather flakey and hard. It has in the past been uncomfortable. If I put sudocrem on to help it stop itching and heal the rough dried skin disappears however it then comes back with a vengeance. This would become holey looking with little blisters before the skin roughened. It has however not had any itchyness or dried skin on it for a couple of weeks there is still a patch there with just the outline of some skin. I have just seen on my other foot that another patch just larger than a 5p piece has formed on the bottom of my foot to the left just under the arch this is also just started to be itchy today. I don’t have the time to go to a doctor and I’m not sure what it could be. Is it contagious? Could it be athletes foot? I had very minor athletes foot a while ago that has been treated and it has cleared up massive. I also had a fungal nail infection last year that has now cleared up. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It is most likely athletes fooot/tinea/fungal infection.

Thank you for your reply. How best to manage it? I thought athletes foot could only be around your toes. Thanks
