Hello, new here and trying to find out what is going on with my great toe of my right foot. The first Matrixectomy was performed in July of 2017. As a result of some continued discomfort the attending doctor performed a second Matrixectomy in September 2017, removing what he believed was some addition small section of nail. Both procedures were performed with the addition of Phenol as the chemical agent. To date, I am experiencing an intermittent throbbing type pain of this toe. The Attending MD has no clue what the problem is. My thoughts are that the Phenol as done some thing to the area resulting in this discomfort that I never had pre-procedure? Please help if you have experienced this or your patient has.
    Thank you in advance
