protrusion in outer side of foot

    My son is 12 years old. I observed recently that there is a hard, bone like protrusion on the outer side of his foot, near the ankle. I am worried. Where can I consult a doctor in (karnataka) India regarding this? What may be the problem?

    It would really be inappropriate to suggest a diagnosis based on the facts at hand. I'm sure that, as you apparently live in India, you would have a far better idea as to where you might find a doctor there than I.
