I had an austin bunionectomy on 12/23/10, so it's been almost 7 weeks. I have been walking for a few weeks without much pressure on the forefoot. Is there any way to reduce the swelling in my foot?

I need to fit into a snowboard boot soon.

Did your doctor clear you to go snowboarding? It would be unwise to push things and cause damage to the surgical site. Swelling may be your foot's way of telling you that you still have to take it slow!
