Hello, everybody! Since a week ago, doing nothing, I experienced a tightening sensation in the lateral arch of my foot that was going away everytime I moved it a little, then it returned when I stoped moving. The sensation wasn't that annoying in the first days, but after that, the thightening sensation started in the region of tibia as well, again the sensation was going away If I moved the foot a little.
After that, some kind of short lasting twitches ocured in the lateral arch of the foot at random times with the thightening sensation still present. On top of that, my entire right leg started to hurt. What's troubling me the most is that the foot seems much softer when i touch it on the lateral arch, compared to the left foot, but still it has the same mobility.
As the things were as this, yesterday I went to hospital to see what's going on. I had an X-ray ar the foot that showed no fractured bones. Then an orthopaedic doctor come to me and checked my right foot. He pressed on certain spots in it, mainly in the region of the lateral arch and he asked me if it hurts in some place. I said that it might hurt near some muscle from the lateral arch but i'm not sure If the pain was from the muscle itself or from his pressing. So, after that he told me that i have plantar fasciiitis. I only asked of that's the cauze of the pain in the leg and he approved, but I forgot to ask about the thing with the soft foot.
Today, the tightening sensation seems to kind of left the lateral arch of my foot, eventual though i still get some twitches there, and now I have the tightening sensation on the tibia and coming and go pain in right foot.
The doctor prescribed me some anti inflammatory medication, but it doesn't seem to help with the pain at all. I took one of mymy antidepresive pills and the pain somehow reduced.
I don't know if this is really plantar fasciitis but I'm utmost concerned with the softness in my foot. What could it be? Thanks and sorry for the long post here!

It does not sound like plantar fasciitis. Sorry, but it is next to impossible to know what it could be without seeing it. Get a second companion.
