Shin and foot numbness after a break

    I broke my 5th metatarsal 18 days ago and for days mow I have numbness on the top of my foot and up the front/side of my shin. I also still have very dark bruising on the bridge of my foot at the 2nd and 3rd toes as well as the side under and around the ankle.

    Its is probably nothing; could be due to nerve compression from swelling.
    Just move it as much as you can within the limits of pain and monitor it.
    If it does not start to improve get to the dr
