Small brown bruise and pain

For the past few week I've been having some trouble with my right foot. The top of it, near my instep has a small discoloration. It looks like a partly healed bruise but it wasn't ever worse than it is now. It is brownish. I am a dancer an I am scared that I dis something to a ligament or that I have a stress fracture. It doesn't hurt just sitting here but it hurts to put a lot of pressure on it. It also makes a clicking noise when I move my toes down. Help!
