Thoughts on my MRI results?

    Been having ankle issues for over a year. Bad swelling and pain among them. Finally had xrays and MRI done. MRI shows a loose body (chunks of bone) floating in the joint, a cyst on the ankle, and some bone spurs. I’ve been referred to a different orthopedic dr. Will this require surgery? If so what will the recovery look like?

    Yes; it will probably need surgery to remove them
    Recovery will be variable depending on what needs doing.

    That’s what I’m afraid of. Thanks for the response. The pain is better for now because they gave me 2 shots.

    I don't think you can fix that on your own. Loose bone will have to be removed. Clean up the spurs as well.

    Thank y’all for the responses got 2 shots in it that have helped with pain and swelling got an appt with an ankle guy next week
