Hi all. This is my first post. I had minimally invasive surgery for a bunion just over two weeks ago. While the dressings were on the foot felt very constructed and was alternatively cold and hot and swollen. I had the dressings off this week but am really struggling. The foot is stiff and painful, very bruised (even in places I didn’t think it should be) and my big toe is not as straight as I’d like. More worrying is the second toe which as soon as I touch the floor it lifts up and moves away from the big toe. It won’t lie flat on the floor even if I consciously try . I’m so worried about this, I thought this would be a quick recovery but I’m not feeling very hopeful . Has some damage been done ? I don’t see the consultant for another week and a half- should I contact the hospital ? Please help ! Thank you

You really need to contact the surgeon asap if you are concerned about it. Its hard to say via a forum without seeing it what is going on.
