Unknown cause of “piercing” between 4th and 5th toes

    Hi!
    I’ve had a something between my 4th and 5th toe for well over a year now. It had come and gone as a bump, a scab, nothing, pain, no pain, and even a hair a pulled out of the top of my foot. I wasn’t concerned until a couple of weeks ago when it came back looking like a puncture wound with a black hole in the middle.
    I went to my PCP office thinking maybe a hair splinter and only saw a PA...
