About 5 days after trying to cover most of Manhatten in a single day, I began getting a terrible pain in my left foot. After Googling up some anatomical images of the foot, I can describe where I'm having the pain. At the tuberosity of the fifth metatarsal where the peroneus tendons connect is where it hurts. The flare up occurred days after I over did it so I'm guessing that was the cause. Any suggestions. I haven't tried doing anything yet, just too busy to get off my feet with the holiday season in full play. Would ice or elevation or NSAIDs help? Should I see a podiatrist or ride it out. Is this a common condition and can it escalate to anything chronic or damaging?
