I had bunion surgery on my big toe over 10 years ago and it's still straight! But i've gotten the stabbing pains back in that toe in the last 3 or 4 months like i had before surgery. Anyone else have this happen to them?

23 years ago I had my foot surgeries a year apart. If I walk long distances, even just over a mile I still feel pain and have to ice. Its gotten worse since I gained weight. Im getting new orthotics. Haven't worn them in a year because thy are expensive and insurance doesn't pay for it. That may be why they are hurting. The orthotics give my foot the support it needs, since I have flat feet. I now have arthritis in my left foot. I still have the screws in them, never wanted to go thru the pain of having more surgeries to remove them. If I would u, I would definitely go to a podiatrist. Good luck!
