Hi , i recently joined here to ask about an issue with my daughters foot/feet. So my daughter developed like an infection on her left big toe , where it was red and swelling a little and had some blood come out right on top of her toe where the toenail meets the skin. So we took her to the doctor and he gave her some antibiotics. So the toe looks a lot better now a couple weeks later , however now her right big toe is developing the exact same symptoms as was happening with her left toe before. I have not really seen anything like this in the past , so i am wondering if anyone might know more about this? It seems kind of odd the way it has progressed from one big toe to another. Thanks for any help

Antibiotics will help with the infection; they will not remove the piece of nail that is probably digging into the skin. That needs to be removed.
