Non union 5th metatarsal fracture

I had a 5th metatarsal fracture about 3 years ago saod to be "right on the border" of likely to heal or not... it did not fully heal. After a couple months of cast and boot I did PT and have since been mostly pain free except for seemingly random occasional days woth some pain. The last few days the pain is more constant... not debilitating, but annoying.
Is it likely it will continue to...
