Pain in right heel on right side

Hi Elwood, perhaps the problem is not your heel but the shoes you are using. What type of shoes are using by the way? Perhaps you might want to try to use orthotic inserts.

 

I have had pain in my right leg heal for years. I don't think that changing shoes will do you any good.

The best thing you can do after a long day is to ice that spot and then message it.

 

Please change shoes and go to buy branded shoes which comfortable to you.

 

Perhaps your shoes/inserts are not providing enough support so all your weight is on the outside edge of the foot, which is very painful. Had to fix that myself by replacing the stock inserts with specialized by foot beds, and unless I over tighten the shoe, problem is solved.

 

I would suggest looking up "plantar fasciitis". It's very possible you may have it if you are wearing cheap shoes without proper arch supports.

 

If you have time you can see a podiatrist and ask them why your feet in pain and what kind of shoes you can wear.

 

Even I agree that massage will help to a great extent. If the condition still persists, then seeking professional help will be right. I knew a guy who had similar problem and did one of the Physiotherapy treatments at Mississauga(Physio Now). After following their instructions and exercises his pain was gradually fading. I think consulting a physio specialist can help you for the trouble.

 

Agree with MikeSimouns - you need to see a podiatrist near you - read reviews, make sure they accept your insurance; if no insurance best to search online for podiatrists that accept direct pay - meaning pay out of pocket from the patient. Possibly - you can get a discount for the services! You need a full work up on this for a definitive diagnosis. Could something internal growing? local infection? subacute infection? mass? fat blob? stress fracture? and also depends on you - in shape, runner, overweight, obese; other medical issues - diabetes, lupus etc. All of the other treatments / suggestions above are only temporizing!

Hey man! I suggest you seek doctor's consultation, it may be plantar fasciitis. Doctors can help you relieve the pain or if not, if pain still persist, you may seek help from Physical therapists.
