I have torn the extender tendon on my foot, the second toe is now "hanging" and the treatment options are to leave it as is, or try to surgically repair the torn tendon. I would like to hear from patients who opted for a surgery: is it worth it for them? Thank you

I would go for the surgery.

I wanted to thank the forum member Paine for the reply. I had surgery today, now 12 hours post-op. Hope for the best. Pain just started to bother me, but still tolerable. Could not believe how hard it is to walk now, need to be at work on Monday....
