Metatarsal fracture - after 6 weeks

    If I fractured a metatarsal bone 6 weeks ago and my foot still hurts, is there any reason to visit a doctor? What would they do at this point?

    Hi Patty...are you in a cast? I broke my 3rd and 4th metatarsal May 17th and was put in a hard cast...i was put into a boot last wed...i still had a lot of pain at 6 weeks and still have pain now when I stand for more than 30 min...some of us take longer to heal
