I have PTTD and need to know is anyone has had a stress fracture in the foot due to pttd....I think I may have a stress fracture, but would like to know exactly what it feels like.. Mine is on the top of the foot, but feels like it is radiating all thru my foot toward the toes.. feels like it is splintering when I walk. very painful

Stress fracture pain is located in the "bone". Radiating pain typically means nerve involvement.

I had horrible pain and could not walk on my left foot on Nov 16th, I went to m foot dr on Dec 14th and found out I have 2 stress fractures, one in the 3rd and 4th menatalas, and now the pain is just not getting better and ever since the 16th, I can't move my foot , expect I can flex my ankle joint up and down and that's all. And the pain is not getting better. I go back on the 4th for more X-rays and bone scan maybe. And now my 5th toe is hurting and it looks deformed.

When you have stress fracture you should consume more dairy products since they'll have high calcium content. Also incase of any injury, you should allow your bone to heal completely.

Update, went to dr last week and my 5th toe has a fracture at the styliod part of the 5th toe, with the other two other stress fractures. Was giving strictly bed rest or wheelchair when out. Only weight bear with going to bathroom or showering. Got a new wheelchair and new boot a air cast boot. Which is much more comfortable. Go back 25th for more X-rays. Do you just let these heal and they don't require surgery? Also I have cerebral palsy.
